The accounting systems and ERPs Planir connects to

Persistent live connections with delta syncing. No monthly export-upload cycle.

Xero

Live connection to your Xero organisation with delta syncing.

  • Chart of accounts, trial balance, transactions, and historical periods
  • Multi-entity Xero structures supported, each organisation consolidated at the group level
  • Delta syncing keeps the connection current without consuming unnecessary API quota

QuickBooks

Persistent connection to your QuickBooks Online company.

  • Chart of accounts, journal data, and reporting periods
  • Multi-currency and multi-class structures supported
  • Continuous data flow with no manual export each reporting cycle

NetSuite

Built for the complexity of NetSuite subsidiary structures and custom segments.

  • Subsidiary hierarchies and multi-book configurations
  • Custom segments and classifications mapped into your group structure
  • Suitable for groups with complex chart-of-accounts structures

In active development. If your group is already running on NetSuite, talk to us about a design-partner setup.

Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Built for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environments.

  • Financial dimensions and analytical segments
  • Multi-entity legal structures and intercompany configurations
  • Suitable for groups and enterprises on the Microsoft stack

In active development. If your group is already running on Dynamics 365, talk to us about a design-partner setup.

Manual upload

Same structured ingestion as a direct integration, for any platform not on the connected list.

  • Upload a CSV or Excel file, map the columns, work against the data
  • Every upload, mapping decision, and change logged in the audit trail
  • Suitable for unsupported platforms, supplementary operational data, and accountant exports

Custom integrations

A native-quality connection built for any system not on this list.

  • Scoped with your team and engineered to the same standard as the native integrations
  • Delta syncing, structured ingestion, and audit trail consistent with every other connection
  • Suitable for groups running specialist ERPs, regional accounting systems, or in-house ledgers

Scoped as a design-partner engagement. Talk to us about the systems your group runs.

One group view across every system

Multi-entity groups rarely run on a single accounting platform. A parent on NetSuite. A regional subsidiary on Xero. A newer entity on QuickBooks. Or some entities on connected systems and others on manual upload. Planir consolidates across every connected system and every manual upload into one group view, with intercompany eliminations and multi-currency conversion applied automatically. The chart of accounts mapping happens once per entity, and the consolidated structure flows from there.

Real-time consolidation across entities and systems
Intercompany elimination for loans, management fees, and intercompany trading
Multi-currency conversion at closing rate for balance sheet, average rate for P&L
Unified chart of accounts mapping across the group

Xero does not consolidate with NetSuite. NetSuite does not consolidate with QuickBooks. Planir does.

How the connection works

Three commitments behind every integration.

01

Persistent live connection

Continuous data flow, no monthly export-upload cycle.

  • Connection authenticated through OAuth; credentials never pass through Planir
  • Data flows continuously after the initial connection
  • Your accounting data in Planir reflects what is in your accounting system today

02

Delta syncing, not full pulls

Only changed records, every cycle. Efficient by design.

  • New transactions, edited journals, and chart-of-accounts updates only
  • Reduces API call volume on your accounting platform
  • Matters as Xero and similar systems move to usage-based API pricing
03

Resilient when your accounting system is unavailable

Cached data keeps working. The next sync catches up.

  • The most recent successful sync remains available during outages
  • Budgets, forecasts, and reports continue to work against cached data
  • When the connection is restored, the next sync catches up automatically

Common questions

What if my accounting system is not on the list?
The manual upload path is the answer. CSV and Excel ingestion works for any source, with the same structured data model and audit trail as a connected system. If your accounting platform is widely used and not yet on the connected list, contact us. Direct integrations are added based on customer demand.
How long does the initial connection take?
+
For Xero or QuickBooks, the connection itself takes minutes. The data sync runs in the background and your first budget, forecast, or report is buildable in the same session. For NetSuite, Dynamics 365, or more complex chart-of-accounts structures, setup runs in hours rather than the weeks typical of enterprise FP&A implementations.
Does Planir write back to my accounting system?
+
Planir reads from your accounting system. The system of record stays your accounting platform. Planir is the planning, reporting, and analysis layer above it. Budgets, forecasts, and adjustments made in Planir stay in Planir unless you choose to export them.
Is my data secure?
+
Connections use the standard OAuth flows provided by each accounting platform, so credentials never pass through Planir. Data in Planir is encrypted in transit and at rest, role-based access is enforced by company and GL account, and the audit trail captures every access event. SOC 2 Type II compliant. See the Security page for the full posture.
Can I see exactly what data Planir pulled?
+
Yes. The data lineage view shows every record pulled from your accounting system, when it was synced, and which Planir output it feeds into. For audit, due diligence, and board review, every figure is traceable from the final report back to the source transaction.
When will NetSuite and Dynamics 365 integrations be generally available?
+
Both integrations are in active development with design-partner customers running on each platform. If your group runs on NetSuite or Dynamics 365 today, we can set you up as a design partner now and you connect at the same time the integration goes generally available. Talk to us about your timeline and we will share where each integration sits in the build.
